Da Lat Adventure & Relaxation: 6 Ways to Mix Your Trip
Da Lat is a good place to mix an active day with a slower one. Go beyond a list of photo stops: choose a waterfall adventure, a playful hillside attraction and time beside Tuyen Lam Lake. Here are six experiences to consider, with practical ways to combine them.

1. Make canyoning your main adventure
If you want one physically active highlight, give Datanla canyoning its own day. A guided programme brings together rope descents, zipline sections, stream crossings, swimming and forest trails. Highland Sport Travel has long specialised in outdoor and adventure programmes in Da Lat. We help you match the outing to your group and explain what the selected route involves before you book.
2. Add colour at Mongo Land
Mongo Land offers a lighter kind of excitement, with its rainbow slide and hillside setting. Choose it for a playful outing with friends or as a change of pace from trekking and water activities. It is an established attraction worth considering, rather than a newly opened venue. Leave time to enjoy the stop instead of adding it to an already full schedule.

3. Try the downhill karts at Cao Nguyen Hoa
The experience often called Mario Kart in Da Lat is downhill luge-style karting at Cao Nguyen Hoa, also known as Dalat Flower Highlands. This is a different location and activity from Mongo Land’s rainbow slide. Check the correct ticket, participation rules and route when planning a combined visit.
4. Slow down with lakeside coffee
At SUN Forest Coffee & Sup, our company-owned campsite area beside Tuyen Lam Lake, you can enjoy a coffee without committing to a full adventure package. A coffee is approximately VND90,000, including access to our grounds. This is a simple way to include lakeside scenery in your trip. Equipment rentals, meals and overnight stays are separate.

5. Choose SUP or kayaking
If you want to get on the water, ask about SUP paddleboard or kayak rental and guided session options at SUN Forest. Choose according to your comfort, available time and conditions. Coffee access is not a paddling ticket. Make sure the booking states equipment, session duration, briefing and any guide or transfer service.
6. Stay overnight by the lake
Our campsite offers another way to extend your visit. Site access for an overnight stay is VND200,000 per person, with tables and chairs available; the tent package is VND300,000 per person with blankets, pillows and mattresses. Meals and water activities are separate unless your chosen package expressly includes them. Ask us which arrangement suits your group.
A balanced way to arrange two days
For an active trip, spend one day canyoning and use the following day for coffee and paddling. For a sightseeing-led trip, combine Mongo Land and downhill karting on one outing, then reserve a separate lakeside visit. A pre-arranged canyoning-and-camping package is another option: the canyon route returns to Datanla before a road transfer to SUN Forest. Our advantage is coordinating these experiences through one local team, rather than promising every attraction fits into one day.
