HIGHLAND SPORT TRAVEL-ADVENTURE TOURS

Solo & Private Easy Rider Tours: Booking Questions

Travelling alone does not mean you need to ride a motorcycle yourself. A passenger Easy Rider booking and the group format are separate choices. Before paying, find out whether your itinerary is private or shared, what the quotation covers and how any overnight arrangements work.

Can one person request a tour?

Yes. Highland Sport Travel’s standard passenger arrangement is one guest with their own motorcycle rider-guide. For the local Da Lat programmes, the price is US$30 per person for a half day or US$45 per person for a full day, with no solo surcharge. Send your date and route so availability can be confirmed. These local rates should not be applied to every intercity or multi-day journey.

Does one rider mean the whole itinerary is private?

Each guest has their own rider-guide in the standard passenger arrangement. That describes the motorcycle seating, rather than guaranteeing that every stop and timetable is exclusive to your booking. If you want a fully private or customised itinerary, tell the team before booking and confirm how the route and departure will be arranged. There is no solo surcharge for the local half-day and full-day passenger programmes.

Can couples and friends travel together?

Tell the operator the number of travellers and ask how the motorcycles and riders will be arranged. Do not assume two guests can share a passenger space behind one rider. Confirm how your group travels between stops and whether everyone follows the same programme. Any specific seating requirement must be discussed before departure.

Will a private tour let me change everything?

Private does not mean unlimited changes. The booked route, distance, available time and operating conditions still matter. Discuss your priorities before the quotation is finalised: more time at coffee stops, fewer visits or a different finish can change the service and cost. Ask which adjustments are included and which require a revised booking.

What happens with rooms on a multi-day trip?

Meals and accommodation are usually separate from our Easy Rider riding price, although the arrangement can vary with the option the guest chooses. Ask for your particular programme’s inclusions rather than assuming hotel nights are covered. If you want the team to help arrange accommodation, discuss the room type, sharing preference and additional cost before confirming. Do not confuse no solo riding surcharge with a promise that every hotel room has the same price.

Which costs should the quote itemise?

Compare the route, rider-guide and motorcycle arrangement, fuel and equipment, admission tickets, meals, accommodation, luggage and pickup/drop-off. Admission to the main scheduled sightseeing stops is generally included; optional activities or additional visits should be checked separately. Meals and hotels are usually paid separately unless a chosen package expressly includes them. Small luggage is normally secured on the bike, while a separate delivery has an extra charge.

How much deposit is required and how can I pay?

The normal booking deposit is 30% of the tour price. Highland Sport Travel accepts online payment or cash. Ask the team for the payment instructions and when the remaining balance is due for your booking. Do not assume that online payment means every card or payment provider is supported, and confirm any transaction charges before paying.

What if I cancel or need to change dates?

Ask for the cancellation and date-change conditions before payment, including what happens if an overnight booking or external service has already been reserved. Separate a customer cancellation from a weather-related operating change. The relevant terms should specify time limits, charges and any refund or alternative; a general FAQ cannot replace your booking confirmation.

What makes an enquiry easy to answer?

Send your date, guest count, route, luggage details, accommodation preferences and any fixed onward connection. Say whether you want to travel as a passenger or ride yourself. We accept self-riding requests, but self-riders must hold an appropriate valid motorcycle driving licence for riding in Vietnam. Confirm the route, price, inclusions and booking conditions with the team before making the normal 30% deposit.
